Weidman Destroys Munoz: UFC on FUEL 4 Results

Chris Weidman lands haymakers from his opponent’s back, finishing Mark Munoz in the second round

Tonight’s UFC on FUEL 4 card was highlighted by a spectacular finish by Chris Weidman in the second round. Weidman displayed excellent stand-up and wrestling against Mark Munoz, showcasing some elbows and punches that suprised many watching the fight. After the fight, Weidman went into detail regarding the elbows

I’ve just been playing around with some elbows. I was playing with the elbows Jon Jones has given the blueprint on how to do it, so I just sort of followed him.

Weidman is now one to two fights away from a title fight against Anderson Silva and the title fight, although he said after the fight that he wants to fight the champion sooner rather than later.
