Palhares Out of UFC 150 With Knee Injury

Ironic that the man most associated with shredding legs has to pull out of a fight with a possible ligament tear in his knee from training, but that is exactly the scenario for Rousimar Palhares. Palhares hurt his knee training in Brazil and unfortunately may need surgery to repair it. Palhares’ coach Murilo Bustamante informed Fighter’s Only of this injury today.

“He got an injury in his knee during the camp. Bad luck. He is out of action for while. After next two weeks we will know for sure if he’ll need a surgery,” Bustamante said.

Palhares will be replaced by Buddy Roberts who will now face Yushin Okami at UFC 150 on August 11 at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.
