Josh Koscheck has been forced out of UFC 151 due to a bulging disc in his back

The injuries keep piling on as the UFC is trying to keep their head up in what has been a brutal summer regarding injuries to fighters.

The latest casualty is Josh Koscheck, who will miss his scheduled fight against Jake Ellenberger at UFC 151 due to a bulging disc in his back. His replacement for the co-headlining bout, Jay Hieron, is riding a 11-1 streak since November 2007. His only loss in that frame coming to current Bellator Welterweight Champion Ben Askren.

Ellenberger and Hieron will face eachother at UFC 151 on September 1st, a fight headlined by the light heavyweight championship of Jon Jones vs. Dan Henderson.
