First UFC 153 Trailer Released

It was a shock to most MMA fans when they first heard that Anderson Silva would be fighting Stephan Bonnar at UFC 153. With the main and co-main events scrapped because of injuries (to Jose Aldo & Rampage Jackson), the UFC looked to fill a vacancy that was filled by the greatest fighter of all time. Instead of facing a top middleweight contender though, he has been slated against a recently-retired Stephan Bonnar who is coming off a three fight win streak.

The move up for Anderson is his third fight at 205-lbs. Although his last two moves were very brief, some are saying this move may be a more permanent one. Always quiet and respectful to current champ Jon Jones, it wasn’t until the UFC 151 fiasco that Anderson started questioning the champ and publicly rooting against him. He was rumored to be fighting George St. Pierre, but the champion has decided to move up to face Stephan Bonnar in a fight where he is a monumental favorite.

As always, this UFC trailer did not fail to captivate viewers, it poses a question we all wonder. Could Stephan Bonnar possibly pull off what would go down as one of the greatest upsets of all time?
